These courses reinforce arithmetic skills, developing the pre-algebra concepts of variable recognition, signed numbers, formulas and single variable equations.  Students will be introduced to algebraic symbolism, simplifying expressions, solutions to elementary equations, and the graphic representations associated with variables.

ALGEBRA I & II
GEOMETRY

Algebra I and II focus on the different function families: linear, quadratic, cubic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions.  The course works on algebraic skills in a wide range of problem-solving situations.  Geometry is designed to emphasize the study of the properties and applications of common geometric figures in two and three dimensions.

PRE-CALCULUS 
& CALCULUS

Pre-calculus gives you the background for the mathematical concepts, problems, issues and techniques that appear in calculus, including trigonometry, functions, complex numbers, vectors, matrices, and others.  Calculus is a conceptual framework which provides systematic techniques for solving problems.  Tutoring is also available to students in Advanced Placement Calculus.

SAT/ACT MATH PREP

The SAT and the ACT are globally recognized college admission tests that let you show colleges what you know and how well you can apply that knowledge. They both test your knowledge of reading, writing and math.  Students interested in being tutored in the SAT or ACT must first purchase a practice test book to review during tutoring sessions.
